Are you happy with the way bicyclists are treated in our state? Do you feel safe on our roads? Are local businesses accomodating to bicyclists? Do they make you feel welcome by providing facilities that would encourage you to bike there and shop?
We suspect that your answers to these questions will be mostly "no." And that means that you may be a prime candidate to become a cycling "advocate". But don't worry. There are many more like you.
But...if there are many more, then why aren't things better for bicyclists? It could be that these many cyclists speak with many different voices, if they speak at all. Our goal is to focus those voices on the issues that affect us all, providing a single, strong voice that will be noticed by those who are in a position to make things better for bicycling in New Jersey.
We need you to work with us to make this happen. Whether is be attending a public meeting, speaking with a legislator or even just writing a letter (the Angry Letter of the Month Club?), you can make your voice heard - through NJBC.
